A Growing Gap

The speed of technology and the changing job market have outpaced today’s learning models, creating a disconnect between education and real-world readiness.

 

By 2030, automation will displace 92 million jobs, but 170 million new roles will emerge. This represents a net growth of 78 million jobs globally. (Source: WEF)

 

Despite this opportunity, too many students are leaving college underprepared for today's workplace, while employers face a historic talent shortage.

The BRIDGE Coalition champions course materials that are grounded in learning science and powered by technology to drive better outcomes in higher education and the workforce. We advocate for policies and solutions that empower educators and inspire students – grounded in the belief that expert designed, research-backed content and educational technology can personalize learning, enrich the course experience, and open doors to academic and career success.
