BRIDGE stands for Building Resources for Innovation, Development, and Growth. The name BRIDGE reflects the effort to unite educators, institutions, and students through thoughtfully designed, research-backed course materials and educational technology. By championing learning science and advocating for policies that empower educators and inspire students, BRIDGE Coalition serves as a pathway to better teaching, personalized learning, and meaningful academic and career outcomes.
We believe that higher education students and faculty deserve high-quality, research-backed, data-driven course materials that will not only set them up for success in the classroom, but also to prepare them to succeed when they enter the workforce. The BRIDGE Coalition stands apart through its dedicated focus on not only advocating for access and affordability of high-quality course materials—but also for the innovation and development of robust learning resources proven to enhance teaching and increase student success.
The BRIDGE Coalition is committed to fostering collaboration across the private and public sectors to champion innovation and growth in education.
BRIDGE Coalition members advocate for responsible use of emerging technologies, such as generative AI, to drive innovation in teaching and learning for students and faculty. AI adaptation in the classroom not only prepares students for an increasingly competitive workforce but also helps faculty save valuable time, allowing them to better support and engage with their students.
Through these efforts, the BRIDGE Coalition is working to create a more equitable higher education landscape, empowering both students and educators to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
